Welcome Back Readers,
Glocally is now back online, and we are excited about rebuilding a brand and a web presence that the community within Newark and the surrounding areas are proud of. A site that represents a growing voice of people that traditionally get drown out by the constant negative aspect of news reporting in the city of Newark. At Glocally, we aspire to be the voice of a transformative movement of dialog, conversation, and news reporting that reflect a vibrant grassroots community.
Glocally is under new ownership, an ownership that is committed to reporting on the abundance of assets building positive stories and the rich diversity that Newark truly embodies. On this site you will see many of the topics that you have become accustom to expect, such as the hottest new restaurant to visit or the newest stores that have opened in the area.
What is new? Glocally has expanded in the areas of coverage by creating new content categories such as Technology, Business, Real Estate, Student Living and more. In addition, honing in on the broader Newark and surrounding areas by adding a Neighborhood’s section.
Glocally, as in it’s name, set out to explore people with richness and diversity…“THINK GLOBAL BE LOCAL”. It is our goal to create an open platform that recognizes the growing trend of Newark becoming a new International urban hub that reflects it’s comparative strengths in the areas of diversity, higher education, art and culture, creative designs and technological innovations.
With your assistance and continued support, Glocally will become your source for a local and global conversation.
