Now that she’s gone, it will take some time to return to “normal.” But one of the nice things about situations like these is seeing the generosity of fellow Jerseyans. Offers of hot meals by individuals and churches. Get a hot shower and some laundry done at different sites. Or something as simple but important as getting a phone charged. The other awesome thing is how everyone is using social media to share information. One of the challenges of the moment is getting gasoline for cars and especially for generators.

Newark Museum is open for free this weekend if anybody needs an art break. Also letting people use power + wifi for free.
Also NY Sports Club at Gateway Center is open and letting people come in to work out, charge devices, and use the showers for free (even non-members, w/ photo ID).
