The growing trend of Yoga, HERE in Newark

The Yoga Movement continues to grow in Newark.  Two weeks ago Glocally reported the growing Newark Yoga movement.  This past week it continued, acknowledging the growing trend of Yoga, Sunday, with the Hip-Hop Yoga at the Lincoln Park Music Festival and free weekly yoga at Riverfront Park.  The trend is  growing  indeed as reported by Star-Ledger Newark Reporter, Barry Carter, in Sunday’s Star-Ledger.

We are excited to be the first to acknowledge this exciting exercise and spiritual trend growing in Newark.  Newark Yoga Movement Inc joins Washington Park for our second summer of free weekly yoga and now a restaurateur has designed a cocktail that is refreshing and is a great relaxer after participants complete their free yoga session .

Martini 494, a  year old restaurant and Martini lounge offers the “Yogatini”.  It is a pretty drink, made from Coconut rum, banana rum, pineapple and cranberry juices.  Is a great way to put a cap on a Wednesday. Alcohol-free variety of the yogatini is available as well.    So for a limited time, when you come to the park for 5:45pm yoga, you’ll receive a coupon for a great deal on the yogatini.   They are also available at the Wednesday Lunchtime music series at Washington Park  Farmer’s Market.  So come by, experience yoga and go to Martini 494 for a refreshing and relaxing drink and great conversation.

Yoga is a part of the W@W programing, Wednesdays at Washington Park, which occurs every Wednesday and includes live entertainment, a farmer’s market, arts & crafts, and variety of food choices through our gourmet truck line.
