Last Spring, 31 Central was home to the Bike Exchange. Open 2 days a week and without much of a community buzz, I wasn't completely surprised when I noticed one day that the Bike Exchange banners were taken down.

A few weeks ago, during my normal commute down Washington Street, I noticed an extra designated lane on the left hand side of the multi-laned road. Could it be a bike lane? There were no indicative markers such as a little man on a bicycle or arrows showing the flow of traffic.

This Friday come visit the Coffee Cave on Halsey Street for Creative at Heart and the Grand Opening of their new Underground Arts Market. For the first time ever local art , music, and accessories will be for sale as part of a permanent shop area in the multi-level Cafe. I'll be there, promoting my handmade jewelry. More often that not, when I want to borrow a book the Newark Public Library doesn't have it. The Main Branch has a large selection of titles to choose from however, it seems like the last four times I searched their online catalog not a single branch had the book that I was looking for.
