The exhibition, Design Newark will display 100 designs created for Newark or by Newark-based designers. The exhibition will capture every facet of design including graphic, industrial, product, architecture, fashion, digital and more.

Tonight:The Downtowner Club Opens @ 5pm!

The corner of Market and Washington St. was once occupied by Bamberger's and their popular restaurant, The Downtowner Club. The Downtowner Club was the home of both jazz and burlesque, here in Newark. Now, The 239 Collective has taken it into its own hands to recreate this staple of Newark.

239 Collective is Ready for YOU

The 239 Collective has been getting excited to open it's doors to you and the rest of Newark! For the past week, day after day, featured artists of the Collect This event have been dropping off their selected paintings, photographs, installations and sculptures to be presented at the opening reception on June 24th. A mural was even painted by a local artist, Mr. Mustart. This assemblage of works will represent the ideas of the "New Newark."
