Planned Parenthood, NJPAC and Glocally Newark have come together to present to you, Newark for Rent. Yesterday at 4pm, performers from the NJPAC production of RENT sang tunes outside the 239 Collective space. I randomly went to five Newark bars (2 in the Ironbound, 3 Downtown) to see which one makes the meanest margarita. Some were good, some were bad, one would give Freddy Krueger nightmares, and none were particularly cheap.
