Around this time last month the talk of the town revolved around the New Jersey Nets and their pursuit of LeBron James and coveted draft pick John Wall. As has been the case for the Nets the past few years, things did not work out and the team was neither able to sign James nor draft Wall. With the exception of the signing of Derrick Favors, some could argue that the Nets haven't really improved all that much since the end of last season.
