Morocco is one of the wealthiest countries in the world, but apparently, no one is sending money to their cousins over at the Arena Cafe on Mulberry Street.

A new generation of Club Kids (minus all the drugs and murder... hahah) has arisen, right here in Newark, NJ. For those of you who are not familiar with the crew, The Party Monsters are a party/promtional team who are made up of the Ironbound's most lively party people.

Because the hours leading up to Opening Night will be like the night before Christmas to a small boy, several Devils fans have taken the initiative of organizing a pre-game bar crawl. Be at Blue Comet Bar in Penn Station by 1:30 to join in on the fun, open to everyone in red and black.

I randomly went to five Newark bars (2 in the Ironbound, 3 Downtown) to see which one makes the meanest margarita. Some were good, some were bad, one would give Freddy Krueger nightmares, and none were particularly cheap.

It seems like ages ago that the Arena Bar was the place to go to let off some post-work steam. It also seems like the rechristened Arena Lounge has run out of steam with the happy hour crowd.
