On Sunday, October 7, 2012, noted art gallerist, Tarin Fuller, held the triumphant relaunch of Iandor Fine Arts in a brand new location in Newark in conjunction with Newark Arts Council’s 11th Annual Open Doors Studio Tour.
Having been forced out of her well-known previous space due to eminent domain as a result of the Prudential Center being built, Fuller’s new gallery in the Ironbound is a clean, open space with touches of home. It served as the perfect backdrop for her inaugural exhibit, Rhythmic Intrinsics, featuring the works of multi-talented jazz great and Montclair resident, Oliver Lake.
Mr. Lake’s work practically jumped off the walls with movement, and he even blessed the crowed with an improvisational sax solo.
Newark is definitely the better for Fuller’s return to its artistic ranks. For more information, please visit iandor.com.
