Playwrights Theatre
As part of its celebration of twenty years of providing professional writing residencies to students in Newark, Playwrights Theatre will present, as part of its Youth-Driven Theatre Initiative, the 2013 Newark Young Writers Festival. Selected works from a generation of young Newark writers will be featured in an evening of readings and performances that will include professional actors and musicians from Newark and beyond, student performers from the Newark Schools, as well as selected pieces of visual art from Newark artists and student artists.
Presented as part of the New Jersey Theater Alliance’s Stages Festival.
