The corner of Market and Washington St. was once occupied by Bamberger's and their popular restaurant, The Downtowner Club. The Downtowner Club was the home of both jazz and burlesque, here in Newark. Now, The 239 Collective has taken it into its own hands to recreate this staple of Newark.
