Speaking of Healthy Eating…

I get veggies from a co-op called the Purple Dragon (you’ll have to ask them about the name). The closest pickup to us is in Ironbound, and the Coordinator has extra available. It’s a really good deal for organic produce, all from small farms within (or as close as possible, obviously depending on the season) New Jersey. Interested?

Fresh Organic Vegetable and Fruit Co-op Shares available!
We are a part of the Purple Dragon Co-op (www.purpledragon.com). Wholesale organic vegetables are delivered locally here in Newark every other week on Wednesdays. Each share is usually 15-30 lbs of fresh, organic produce and costs $49. Half shares are half of this and cost $25. There is no fee or commitment until after you try it for 3 deliveries, and then we just require one delivery paid in advance. Other special orders are always available for additional fruit, veggies, eggs, natural household goods and meat.
Please contact Sarah Walker if you are interested in trying a share this Wednesday!
