The Last Seed … as we know it

Back in July Jajo closed down. Then shortly after, Gallery 21, my favorite Cuban Gallery closed its doors. Now it seems as though another Newark gallery will be bidding us farewell. I can’t help but wonder who else will bite the recession bullet….

Located on the corner of Market and Washington, SEED has kinda sorta been the type of place you wouldn’t mind stumbling into or out of. I could go on and on about the things I’ll miss about SEED, however, I think the best way to show my love and appreciation is by throwing on my best college slacker digs and cruising on over to SEED this Friday.

Along with Down 2 Earth, a group promoting art and cultural events throughout North Jersey, SEED will be having one of their “until you drop parties.”
