New Exhibition: VESSEL – Solo Projects

Nominated by the International Association of Art Critics, Rupert Ravens Contemporary art gallery, also known by others as The Art Store, is exhibiting another group of talented artists. His last exhibition, Next Post: 18 Solo Projects, showcased a broad spectrum of talent from light and sound installation pieces to mixed media and painting. He takes advantage of the three floor gallery, accommodating the needs of the artists’  creativity, whether it be an inflatable parking cone reaching over 12 feet tall, an installation piece requiring a fog machine or a dark room with black lights. Rupert Ravens is not afraid to go beyond the simplicities of just hanging a couple of square framed paintings on a wall.

Free this Friday night?! “VESSEL -Solo Projects” is the gallery’s new exhibition opening this Friday night, October 23rd around 8 o’clock in the evening and runs through to January 16, 2010.  Stop by the gallery located at 85 Market Street.  Bring your friends, meet some new people, and admire the talent. Maybe you’ll catch Rupert walking around with his parrot perched on his shoulder.
