LIVE FROM HALSEY STREET BLOCK PARTY

If you’re not at the first installment of the Halsey Street Block Parties you’re going to be kicking yourself in the morning.  Right now I am jammin to the sounds of  Laticia & Friends, the Coffee Cave house band, and I just took a walk through Newark’s double decker trolley! Gotta love it! The outdoor movie screen is up and one of the best things about this event is that all the business on Halsey Street have their doors open and are welcoming people in. Stay tuned for more sights and sounds! Better yet, come on down here and join us!

Looked like a wonderful time. Congratulations to everyone who made this happen! It’s those people with vision beyond 4 walls and concrete that will create a new Newark. Congrats Halsey Street!
