A Recessionary Artists’ Market

Are you exceptionally crafty?  In these tough economic times, you can cash in on your artistic talent. On Sunday, August 9, emerging artists, designers, vintage collectors, and handmade crafters will set up shop and come in direct contact with the consumer public at Mompou Tapas Bar.

Not artistically inclined, but still have a love for wine, tapas and handmade treasures? Join us for the first-ever Recessionary Artists’ Market and enjoy the dynamic retail setting. Tables will be set up in the picturesque outdoor patio of Mompou. Here is the essential info:

Place: Mompou Tapas Bar (77 Ferry St., Newark, NJ 07105) 
Date: Sunday, August 9, 2009 
Time: 5:00 PM 
Fee: $10 per table (tables may be shared, 32″ x 32″) 
Deadline: Thursday, August 6, 2009

    Sunday at 5? That’s got to be the worst time to host any kind of event. Otherwise, it sounds like a great idea.
